21. Chapter: Rebirth
Catherine stood over a petri dish and examined the result of a study on the function of the gene mal6, which ensured that the cell knew where its end was and where it should grow. Numerous colonies had grown on the selective medium and now the microscope would show whether the induced mutants had real influence on the growth areas of the cell. If she was successful and understood the mechanism of cell growth in S.cerevisiae, she would be a big step closer to do so with the human organism, because in principle was the same in all eukaryotes.
She sighed and sat down on one of the chairs in the lab and koehlered the microsc

20th Chapter: The curtain falls
It was dusk. The sun rose. Orange light lit up the Baker Street. Such a peaceful, normal picture, but the appearances were deceptive. Catherine sat motionless for many hours on the window sill, watching the Baker Street. Even blink she just did when it was absolutely necessary. Hardly a man could pass her surveillance area. Actually, nothing unusual, but Catherine felt that this was just the calm before the storm.
Last night she had startled out of her sleep around midnight. Shots were fired and she had heard loud screams. When she got out of bed and walked to the window, she had only seen as Sherlock ran off

19. Chapter: Loyalty
Two months later, Catherine was on her way home from a hard day in her laboratory. Her thesis was in its final part, now. After she had completed her eight-week internship project, under Professor Niels guide, she had immediately started her and she had to deliver her results next month.
Since Sherlock, and also John, continued to ignore her completely, no matter where she accidentally ran into them, she spent almost all of her time in the laboratory to evaluate or to write down her data. She did not know what to do with her time anyway and she just went home to take a shower and or changing her closes.
Of course, she kn

Catherine was poking restlessly in her sundae and looked around. Pure life prevailed in this little café, and many students were sitting close together, chatted and laughed together, and no one noticed the two guests who stared at each other appraisingly. Upbeat music came from small boxes over their heads and everything was peaceful, but Catherine did not realize all this. The reason why she was here was much more serious and made her restless. Before her lay a conversation that had given her long sleepless nights, because she felt that a disaster was brewing and would soon escalate.
Sherlock sat across from her.

Catherine sat at the window of her living room, which afforded a view of the Bakerstreet. She often sat here in the last two weeks. Watching life as it flowed by, as people lived their daily lives, while hers was lost. She hated herself for it, but so it was. Her life she got long gone in the series. It was empty.
Two weeks full of loneliness and isolation had shown her all too clearly that she has a lot missing, that her neighbours had determined her life more than she had ever wanted. Without them, she was not able to organize her life. She worked, learned, slept, and worked and so on. Oh yes, how exc

A month later, Catherine's life was almost back to a normal student one. The spring had arrived in London and the plants were in full bloom. She went on working on research at the mechanisms of cell division on S.pombe, learned incidentally everything about the subject. She lived a life of ease and almost everything could be boring normal if there were would not still be her neighbours.
Actually, nothing had really changed after her abduction. No, not really. Sherlock was still often the purest plague, even if he no longer got on her nerves so much as at the beginning of this story. He still came unannounced to her home, a

A week later, Catherine Amell stood in front of the door of 221b and hesitated. Should she really do it? On the other hand, it was her only chance return into normality. And what she had to do for it? To ask him. That was really paradox, but Catherine did not know what else to do anymore. So she took a deep breath and went inside.
An unusual silence was in the hall and Catherine walked slowly up the stairs. Somehow, she had always the feeling that she entered the lion's den when went went up those stairs. She simply never had any idea what was expecting her, except that it was something odd in ninety-five per cent o

Sherlock let the bow slide across the strings and listened to the gentle sound that his beloved violin produced. His grey eyes looked out the window, where rainy night flew over London’s sky. Sherlock reset the bow on the strings and made a higher tone.
Shortly, he put her down and looked at

John slipped back the curtain and went away from the window from which he had been watching the conversation between Catherine and Mycroft. Fire already crackled merrily in the carmine in the living room of his apartment and filled the room with comfortable warmth.
John turned to Sherlock, who- as so often- was lying on the sofa under the Smiley and stared thoughtfully at the ceiling.
“Catherine is coming up, now.” He shared briefly with the detective, who acknowledged that with a short grunt. John frowned thoughtfully as he sat down in an armchair. “Do you have any idea what this ta

Bored! Sherlock groaned annoyed and let his eyes wander over his apartment. Since the series of murders had been solved a week ago with Catherines help, it had become incredibly quiet and now he was bored to death.
Lestrade had no new case for him and now he squatted here and did not know what to do with his time. Catherine had thrown him out several times and made more than clear that he should not come over without a serious reason or by invitation, because their study was very time consuming and she could not need any disruption. John also watched carefully, that Sherlock would not bother her.
Too bad somehow. N

Mira didn’t know, how long she had been flowing through the endless darkness which had been caused by the poison, but now she felt her senses returning slowly. What had happened? Carefully she was reaching out into her thoughts to the last happenings, but always when she tried to remember anything desperately, it seemed like she was hitting a barrier. Instead her head ache became stronger and stronger. Damn it! What had that bitch of an Asari done to her?
She wanted to take her hands to her head intuitively, but she felt that something was holding her back. Something was cutting within her hands painfully and

The only thing John wanted to do was to fall into his bed and gathered some sleep, but Sherlock seemed to be confident with the result. Passionate love in the heat
A dry wind flows over the sand while the air was glimmering. The heat crushed on Shepard's skin, but she didn't care. A big, wildish beauty of a landscape lied in front of her. Mountains of buried sand built a wonderful panorama like huge, brown mountains. For a few moments Shepard was caught by this beauty. She never had been in a desert before in her entire life, she never had been interested in landscape, but this view had stolen any breath from her.
The horses behind her snorted irritatedly and their ears played nervously when they acknowledged a noise. Karin smiled softly. She knew the reason why. Warm, stro
Shepard startled out of her sleep. Bathed within sweat, she sat off and stroked through her sticky hair. Just the quiet humming of the E-Zero core was heard in the silent cabin of the commander. She stared out of the new window and watched the small, yellow points flowing by. It was a game out switching between black and yellow, darkness and colour. Shepard sighed quietly. The final was near. Tomorrow they would reach the Cronos Station and she would destroy Cerberus terminally and afterwards she would head down Earth together with the Crucible. The final battleground was near. Everything that Shepard had worked for the last five years would
"Dear Thane..."
Shepard stopped, unsure of what she should write. There was so much left to say, so many words unspoken and so little time left. The war was escalating and it was hard for her to just take a breath. Reapers were going down everywhere, the world was going to collapse, but what really made the Commander stay awake at night was her worry about Thane, her Drell, her one and only. The only person who really knew what was going inside her mind.
"Is everything alright with you? I have not heard anything from you for a long time. I'm worried. I wish I could be there with you, to spend our last moments with you " Oh, she sounde

Hello everybody :) I'm AsenikaKarana out of germany :) Nice to know you :) I'm really interested in the world of anime, but i'm quite bad in drawing so i've trained hard since 5 years and improved...but i just "good" in this style (well...good for my level in the view on other works just bad xD) but it makes so much fun and this is all what counted :) Next to drawing I love to write fanfiction (but not on english...it's not my mother tongue xD), riding, chatting, meeting friends...just all the normal things xD
Omg, this just happened. The Filming have not even started and Benedict confirms that Martin and him had signed for the 4'th season of BBC Sherlock Holmes!!!! i'm so excited...
but...according to writer steven moffat, cliffhanger in S3 is even worse than in season2...

just because ~mythlover20 (https://www.deviantart.com/mythlover20) asked me to do ;)
